The gas woman company was established in 2011 by Sinead Halton. Sinead had worked as a plumbing and heating engineer with the family business for 12 years before starting her own company. Qualifying in 2006 with a FETAC national craft cert (with merit) as one of the first female plumbers from Louth, Meath, Cavan and Monaghan. She is also a registered gas installer since 2006 and a registered contractor with SEAI (Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland).
